About Toad Data Modeler BETA

Toad Data Modeler version 3 is still under development. A lot of new features have already been added to the product, and there are still many others to be implemented. Some features will have to be re-written or modified to be perfect.

Please feel free to bring up your suggestions and ideas to shape the product to completely fit your requirements, and help us to create the software that will be a real pleasure for you to use and work with! We are ready to listen to you! The final version will perform faster, the work will be more comfortable, many issues will be resolved and the bugs you will report in BETA will be fixed.

How to join

You need to establish a Community account with Quest Software. Once your account is established, you become a member of the Modeling Community and can take full advantage of it (free access to Forum, Flash movies, Document Library, Download section etc.). Login / Register.

We ask all new members of the community to fill out a very simple survey.

To participate in our contest (see below), visit the download page, download the BETA version of Toad Data Modeler and join our Discussion Forums!

Support for BETA

Toad Data Modeler 3 BETA is supported ONLY via this community directly by our Development team. Quest Software Support team does NOT provide any support to the BETA. All your questions and requirements should be sent to: modeling@quest.com or published in our Discussion Forum.

Quick Help: Watch instructional flash movies and browse the document library. Solutions, advice, hints and tips etc. for you will be published in the Library section by our team gradually.

How many BETA versions will be released?

We plan to release at least one BETA version a month but we will probably release new BETA versions more frequently. All BETA version downloads will be available at this Modeling community site.

How to participate in the contest? - Contribute to our community forum. - Ask questions, report bugs, share your knowledge, experience and ideas, post suggestions and recommendations, give advice and help other members, publish your scripts etc.
What is the challenge? - Be the most active and most contributing Modeling Community member!

Our team weekly evaluates all posts that come to our community and gives extra points for your contributions. Every week you can read the 'Weekly Developer Surprise Award Announcement' posted in the forum where you can see how many extra points you got from our dev team for the last week.

What are the prizes you play for?

• Three 25 USD Amazon Gift certificates. A user can win only one certificate, however can qualify for the grand prize.
• Grand prize - third generation iPod NANO (4 GB) . - The total winner - one most active and most contributing Modeling Community member - will be awarded the grand prize. (If the winner does not want iPod NANO, he/she can ask for 160 USD Gift certificate.)

Duration of the Contest:
The Modeling Community Contest has started 1 October and will run till June. So, there's plenty of time and opportunities to contribute and win! ;)

Winners will be selected by our Toad Data Modeler Developers Team.

Note: Winners have 14 days from notification to claim the prize. Prize may be claimed by return e-mail. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded.
